Children Are Not Little Adults

Our Mission

Only someone who has experienced the heartache of having a sick child can understand what it’s like. This is something that hits close to home for CNR’s founder and Executive Director, whose own daughter became sick with a devastating illness while still in grade school. Before then, Christian Nursing Registry provided nursing care primarily to adults and seniors. But after experiencing the unique challenges of her daughter’s illness, CNR’s founder changed the course of her agency’s life.

Now, decades later, Christian Nursing provides warm, highly skilled nursing care to children and their families at their greatest times of need. Our mission, first and foremost, is to make sure every child receives the best possible nursing care in the comfort of their own homes. Secondly, we strive to support our patients’ parents and families and restore a sense of “I can do this” in their households. At CNR, we know that a family’s life is forever changed when a child becomes ill or injured. Our goal is to facilitate a new normal, and provide all family members with the support they need.
